BERGLER LOW EYE_C

Introducing the limited-edition Bergler Low eye_C – a brand-new silhouette. This special edition of the HANWAG Bergler features genuine double-stitched construction – just like the original Bergler. HANWAG has been producing genuine double-stitched boots since 1921, preserving a traditional craftsmanship that is now mastered by only a few shoemakers. Thanks to this elaborate construction, the special edition Bergler Low eye_C is particularly robust, durable, and resoleable.

The upper is made of high-quality, soft Perwanger suede leather, ensuring excellent comfort. The cuff and tongue are crafted from fine, matching nubuck leather. For excellent grip and traction, the shoe features a Vibram® Tessin wedge sole with a rugged profile. The selection of laces in 3 different colors allows for a variety of distinctive looks.

"I’ve always had a love for polka dots – they’re a way to elevate something without making it too much. At eye_C, we usually create collaborative footwear that blends seamlessly with your outfit rather than taking all the attention. For this one, I wanted to keep that same idea in mind but add an extra layer on top to try something new for a change. The result is a semi-bold look on a muted canvas – something in between."

The Gritstone II GTX by eye_C features updated design details, including silver D-ring eyelets, a utility-inspired heel loop, and stitched logos that nods to both collaborators. The Gritstone seamlessly blends functionality with modern style, making it ideal for both urban and outdoor settings. Each colorway comes equipped with a set of three interchangeable lace options for added styling versatility.

A PFAS-free ePE GORE-TEX membrane offers waterproof breathability, while the Vibram® Ultragrip II Kronplatz outsole ensures a smooth heel-to-toe roll-off across various terrain. Webbing-mounted eyelets provide a secure fit without pressure, blending function with visual refinement.
