Traditional craftsmanship in a new interpretation – the Bergler eye_C II is a limited-edition version of the HANWAG Bergler. The model was designed in collaboration with eye_C, the Tokyo-based fashion and culture magazine. The same as all HANWAG genuine double-stitched boots, it’s particularly long lasting and sustainable due to its extremely robust, stable and repairable construction – that is also fully resoleable. HANWAG has been making double-stitched footwear since 1921 and is keeping the alive a tradition that few bootmakers still master.
The Bergler eye_C II has an upper made of high-quality, camel-brown Perwanger split leather. For perfect comfort and a pleasant feel, it has a soft leather inner lining, while the cuff and tongue are made of fine nubuck. Its silver lacing eyelets and three sets of differently coloured laces – off white, old pink/white and brown/white – allow a variety of distinctive looks. There’s also a leather heel loop at the back. Underfoot, the Vibram® Tessin wedge sole has a rugged profile to ensure good grip and traction.
