Once upon a time there was a man called Hans Wagner. Hans started making shoes more or less one hundred years ago. Or to be more precise: boots. He enjoyed wearing them up in the mountains. A lot. And on a regular basis. Hans Wagner’s mountain boots had to be robust. And resoleable. After all, the hard-wearing leather used to stitch the uppers would not wear out. It was only the soles that would wear down over time.

We use the best construction techniques and a particularly tough full-grain leather to make the special-edition jubilee models. In honour of Hans Wagner. Here’s to the next 100 years!

Alaska 100 - 100 meets 25

The Alaska 100 is an homage to 25 years of the Hanwag Alaska GTX, and also to our 100th anniversary and the original tradition of mountain boots. To make the limited-edition Alaska 100, we use eco-friendly and socially-responsible leather from the Heinen tannery, with 2.8 mm thickness for the men’s version and 2.4 mm for the women’s models. The distinguished design is further enhanced by the special anniversary embossed logo on the upper and individual numbering on the outside of the boot.

 

Hans 100 and Wagner 100 – Timeless Classics

Fashions come and go. Classic footwear lasts forever. With the Wagner 100 and the Hans 100, we are reawakening memories of classic, double-stitched mountain boots from the period when Hanwag was founded 100 years ago. It’s a monument to times past, but with a construction that is anything but dated. Double stitching is a technique that few other bootmakers master. The resulting footwear will last a lifetime.

 

Sepp 100 – robust and longlasting

An exceptionally robust mountain boot. The Sepp 100 is made with a triple-stitched construction and the sole unit is connected with strong double stitching. They don’t come much more durable or long-lasting than this. Strictly limited.
