75 Alpine Experience participants master the climb to Zugspitze in winter-like conditions
Respect for the weather conditions is maybe the most important thing you should take with you when climbing a mountain. Already on Saturday, it was clear that this year’s Alpine Experience would be more challenging due to the weather report.
As Mountain Elements are responsible mountain guides, we decided to cancel the heavier routes Jubiläumsgrat, Höllental and Stopselzieher and started out in several groups to master the Reintal route.
Pouring rain changed quickly to snow and the last steeper climb was managed in smaller groups or via the cable railway.
Celebrating our success, we finished off by barbecuing in the Eibseealm hut with plenty of music and laughter.
We thank all of the participants for a fantastic experience and hope to see you next year!
